It's the censorship that bothers me, the gore and grizzly deaths really scared me as a kid (in a good way) now it's less intimidating. Scabs just hit you and Abe spins, rather than getting eaten alive. Case point 3:11 used to be a Mudokon's bloodied head on a spike. That ice pop design is too silly and the game isn't as thrilling because of it.

A warning for Christians, the Abzu game contains actual pagan worship. Playing the game the music, content & symbolism gradually got me to a "hang on a minute" moment when I heard Latin or archaic words in the chorus' voices like "anana" (a Babylonian goddess) & it began to disturb me so much that I investigated the composer and the words being sung off the online album. The chorus is singing a devotional prayer word for word lifted directly from the Enūma Eliš the Babylonian creation myth. For Christians, worship prayers to pagan deities are forbidden, as we are taught in the Bible that the ancient pagan gods are satanic & were fallen angels, so enemies of the Creator. It was hidden subtly, but this game is rooted in authentic pagan archaic worship. The name Abzu (Google it) is an actual demonic god they worshipped, not just "deep water" in ancient Mesopotamian. Despite the undeniable beauty of the visuals, I had to delete the game & trash it

I honestly think this game have the power of easing depression. Because this game in itself is filled with colour and joy and of course the inhabitants of the sea, and they welcome you to their world and they don't judge or talk bad things about you, you are in their world and you are the guest of honor. I Played this game a couple years ago when i was in a really dark place, i just thought this was just an decent game, but GODAMN it got me from start to finish without blinking an eye. What i was experiencing here, was art in it's finest, and that shows trough gameplay, art and music and of course the visual story you get. When i finished the game, life got a little bit better actually, because you forget the bad times you have. This is the power of this little game, it can help you. But also, this game get's really dark, like really dark if you get the message in the game, it's simple yes, but godamn so real it is. I have noticed this game is free of charge this month and a little bit in April on the Ps4. And i honestly can't rec this game enough. Get it, and play it NOW! A gem of a game.

Tthis new one took a giant dump over the original's intro. vibrant, colorful, bright, lots of bloom. it is completely devoid of any atmoshpere, and the dark tone that the original was going for is completely absent. it is night and day different in a bad way. if this were a completely different game, it'd be okay. but for an oddworld remake, they missed the mark horribly.

I don't know which one I prefer. The original was more dark and on edge, while the new one is bright, well animated and detailed.

God damn that dragon thing at the end looked pretty dumb. I was pretty turned on to the game at first being nordic mythology and an RTS that looks similar to Age of Empires. However after seeing that Roshan rip off in the form of a dragon I don't know if I care to play this . Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos came out in 2002 and its hostile creeps camps looked more dynamic, fluid, and fitting to the environment. That big dumb PvE dragon looking thing might just be the reason I don't even give this game a chance. The gameplay appears to be pretty slow paced for a rts. I think I almost fell asleep watching that ship coming in and leaving port to trade.. Zzzzzz. When can I just play an RTS where i can make like 3 barraks or something early and just attempt an uber rush or instantly attempt a tower rush. I wonder how much room there is for actual strategy in this game or if it just just super linear and forces you to trade with players.

Yes, lip sync and the fighting part looks really badly. But it's a pre-alpha demo. I hope Dontnod will do their best to make this game better.

Damn, I didn't think that one can make lip synching even worse than in Life Is Strange. Jeez... Also, Skyrim-style compass, seriously? It might be useful in a giant game, like TES V, but I seriously doubt Vampyr will be at least 1/100 of it's size.
